Maureen's production experience was acquired in Hollywood and now she graces the paradise we call home, Maui, HI. Maureen spent 9 years in the film/television/live events industry as a coordinator of events and production management. Since Maureen moved to Maui she has coordinated over 250 weddings and numerous large receptions. To better explain Maureen's skills as an event coordinator and how it relates to co-managing Unions in Paradise, simply put, Maureen can whip anyone into shape and her skills are top notch; personnel management, purchasing and receiving, tracking budgets, maintaining timelines and project due dates, VIP management and gift purchases, transportation, direction of staff and accounting. Her production experience helped her transition into the wedding coordination business with great ease. She is highly capable in establishing and leveraging current vendor accounts/relationships. Maureen brings a wonderful reputation to the table, as well as, her never ending supply of improvisation, wit and humor. Maureen is the primary "go to person" for booking and planning weddings and events, trafficking vendors and support staff, accounting, and on-site coordination.
